Meet Latam

The airline Latam had a beginning full of pioneering spirit and challenge. In 1929, Lan “Chilean National Airline” was created by Commander Arturo Merino Benítez.

Finally, in 2015, the new brand LATAM was born, adopted by LAN, TAM, and their subsidiaries. Soon in 2017, a new business model was implemented in domestic and international markets. In 2019, the LATAM Airlines Group and Delta Air Lines announced a strategic alliance, uniting two leading airlines in North America and Latin America. Finally, in 2020 LATAM left the oneworld alliance.
