JSL, a company related to transportation and logistics, has acquired Transportadora Rodomeu Ltda and Unileste Transportes, companies specializing in the transportation of gases, chemicals, machinery, equipment, and general cargo, for R$ 97 million. JSL claims that the acquisition is aligned with its growth strategy, diversification, and consolidation in the logistics sector, specifically in the transportation of high-complexity loads.

Transportadora Rodomeu has been in the market since 1971 and specializes in the transportation of gases, chemicals, machinery, equipment, and general cargo.
JSL stated that the acquisition is in line with its growth strategy, diversification, and integration in the logistics area. The acquisition also aims to scale professional transportation of high-complexity goods, such as agricultural machinery and equipment, civil construction, and general goods, as well as enter the compressed gas sector, making the industry more diversified.

When the transaction is completed, the purchase price of R$ 97 million may be adjusted according to the regular adjustments of these operations. R$ 29.1 million will be paid at the closing date of the transaction, and the remainder will be paid over 24 months.
