According to the announcement, in the previous record, from October of this year, Replan had registered 1,316,876 m³ of pre-salt oils processed, which represented 68% of the load.
Among the pre-salt oils processed in November at Replan, the notable oils include Búzios, Sapinhoá, Tupi, and Atapu. The oil production from the pre-salt layer has increased considerably in recent years and contributed to the lower processing of imported light oils, as the pre-salt oils are lighter than the oils from the post-salt fields.

About Petrobras’ Paulínia Refinery
Replan has the capacity to process 69 million liters of oil per day, the largest in Petrobras’ refining park. The main products produced are diesel, gasoline, aviation kerosene (QAV), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fuel oils, asphalts, coke, and propylene.
The production from Replan accounts for approximately 20% of all oil refining in Brazil, processing almost the entirety of national oil, much of which comes from the Santos Basin (pre-salt).
The Paulínia Refinery began its operational activities on February 2, 1972, three months before its inauguration. At that time, about 20 thousand cubic meters of oil per day (126 thousand barrels) were processed.
