The City Hall of Itaboraí, in collaboration with the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan), is offering three free professional training courses, with over 150 available positions. Registrations are open until November 6th and can be made at the National Employment System (Sine) in Itaboraí, located in the city center, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The training opportunities cover high-demand areas in the job market, including: Network Computer Systems Operator, Quality Control Assistant, and Carbon Steel Coated Electrode Welder 4G.

NETWORK COMPUTER SYSTEMS OPERATOR
- Completed elementary education (5th grade);
- Function: Provides support to users in hardware and software, performing maintenance on computer equipment and network configuration. Attends to clients both in the field and remotely, conducting tests on systems developed by the company and performing maintenance services;
- Minimum age of 16 years.

When Do Classes Begin for the Free Courses?
The courses are scheduled to begin on November 13, 2023. The distribution of classes will take place in strategic locations, aimed at serving diverse audiences.
The Network Computer Systems Operator course will be held at FAETEC’s headquarters, located in Ampliação.
The Quality Control Assistant course will take place at the Sine headquarters, in the center of Itaboraí.
The Carbon Steel Coated Electrode Welder 4G course will be taught in a mobile unit located next to CIEP Brizolão 130 — Doctor Elias de Miranda Saraiva, in Rio Várzea.
Professional Qualification Courses with Free Certificate
Classes will be offered from Monday to Friday, with three shifts available: from 8 AM to 12 PM, from 1 PM to 5 PM, and from 6 PM to 10 PM.
At the end of the courses, participants will receive completion certificates, which can open doors to new opportunities in the job market.
What Documents Are Required to Register?
At the time of registration, interested individuals must have a copy of their ID, CPF, physical or digital work card accessible, proof of residence, proof of income, school certificate, and PIS.
Partnership with Firjan Aims to Increase Employability in the GasLub Pole
The mayor of Itaboraí, Marcelo Delaroli, highlighted the importance of professional qualification courses for the city’s residents.
He emphasized the effort in partnership with Firjan to prepare young people and interested individuals to take the job positions that are returning to the region.
The municipal secretary of Labor and Income, Dinei Dias, stressed that the partnership with Firjan aims to improve the local workforce and consequently generate more job vacancies for the inhabitants of Itaboraí.
With the implementation of these free courses by Firjan, the chances of being awarded positions in the GasLub Pole increase significantly.
