Offshore companies began to feel the direct impact of the crisis caused by Covid-19 and are already initiating mass layoffs. Lift Group, like others, had contracts suspended with some oil companies and FPSO operators while the pandemic is not under control.

It was reported to the team of Click Petróleo e Gás on Friday (20) about the layoff of more than 30 employees from the company, as they cannot maintain them without services, consequently without cash to pay them.
According to some employees, the company will pay all labor rights, and this week, a company doctor from Brascipa is expected to go to the operational base to conduct the demissional ASOs for these employees.
