The Brazilian Navy Has Hundreds Of Open Positions Without A Competitive Exam Available In 9 Districts. The Opportunities Focus On Candidates With Higher Education In Various Areas.

The Brazilian Navy recently announced the call for applications for the Voluntary Military Service (VMS) focusing on the nine naval districts of Brazil. There are more than 400 positions without a competitive exam offered for candidates interested in serving as a 2nd Class Officer in the Navy Reserve (RM3), aiming to complement the force of career officers.

Salary Of A Navy Officer

The salary forecast for the position of temporary Navy officer is R$ 11,088 referring to the salary, which can be increased by an additional 25% for those with a master’s degree or 30% for those with a doctoral degree, plus a military allowance of 25% and a 20% availability allowance.

Thus, the gross income for those with a master’s title can reach R$ 18,489 and for PhDs, the salary reaches around R$ 19,403.40.
