About the Aprenda Mais Platform
Created in 2020, Aprenda Mais was born from the partnership between MEC, the National Education and Research Network (RNP), and the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS).
The proposal took shape through meetings between Setec/MEC, IFRS, and RNP, resulting in the publication of Ordinance No. 491 in October 2021, which officially established the initiative.
The goal is to offer massive courses from the Federal Network, with rigorous criteria for selection and offering, ensuring quality, relevance, and respect for copyright.
Since then, the platform has consolidated itself as a strategic tool for disseminating distance education, with pedagogical support from IFRS and technical support from RNP.
With free courses that strengthen the field of information and communication, the platform contributes to the training of professionals aligned with market demands.
Furthermore, it reinforces the mission of the Federal Network to democratize access to quality education, promoting inclusion, innovation, and social development.
