On Thursday, 10/23, MRS Logística is accepting applications for the 2025 Apprenticeship Program, aimed at training wagon mechanics apprentices. The theory course, conducted in partnership with SENAI, combines theoretical classes and supervised professional practice, offering participants a complete and paid training in the railway sector.
The selection process runs until November 15, 2025, and the opportunities are in-person in Barra do Piraí (RJ).
The initiative seeks young people aged 18 to 23 who have completed high school by December 2024 and reside in cities near the MRS unit.

Theory Course at SENAI and Professional Practice at MRS Logística
With a total duration of one year, the program is divided into two phases. The first consists of the theory course taught by SENAI Barra do Piraí, between November 17, 2025, and November 26, 2026.
During this period, the apprentices will attend classes focusing on technical content, safety, and railway maintenance, with classes divided into morning (8 AM to 12 PM) and afternoon (1 PM to 5 PM) shifts.
In the second phase, participants move to the practical phase within MRS, where they apply the knowledge acquired.
This experience occurs between February and November 2026, under the supervision of experienced professionals, providing real immersion in the company’s operational and maintenance environment.
Wagon Mechanics Apprentice: What They Do and What MRS Seeks
The position of wagon mechanics apprentice is aimed at young people looking to enter the job market with a solid foundation in industrial and railway maintenance. Among the expected activities are:
- Assisting in corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of wagons and equipment;
- Inspection of mechanical parts and components;
- Support in the manufacturing and repair of parts;
- Participation in training and technical meetings;
- Compliance with safety and operational standards.
MRS seeks candidates who are proactive, communicative, and genuinely interested in the railway sector, as well as committed to safety and quality.
According to the company, the work environment will primarily be in workshops and maintenance halls, requiring willingness to handle practical and technical activities.
Selection Process and Deadlines
The selection process consists of five stages.
After the pre-registration, candidates must take a Portuguese test and complete the registration form on the Eureca platform. Interviews, whether online or in-person, will take place between August and September.
Subsequently, there will be a psychological evaluation and aptitude exam in October, and the final enrollment — an eliminatory stage — will also occur in the same month. Only those who meet all criteria will be selected.
Benefits Offered by MRS Logística
Hired apprentices will receive a salary commensurate with working hours, ranging from R$ 690 (4h) to R$ 1,518 (8h).
In addition, the program offers transportation vouchers, life insurance, food vouchers of R$ 1,200 (for 6h and 8h shifts), and access to the Welhub wellness platform.
The company emphasizes that the program serves as a gateway for young people seeking to grow professionally and develop technical skills with the support of SENAI instructors and MRS specialists.

It is necessary to provide a valid WhatsApp number for contact and prove residency in Barra do Piraí, Barra Mansa, Mendes, Miguel Pereira, Pinheiral, Piraí, Valença, Vassouras, or Volta Redonda.
The start of activities is scheduled for November 2025, with the theory course at SENAI Barra do Piraí and, subsequently, the practice at MRS Logística.
