The Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) announced on Thursday (25) the opening of new positions in free online courses in English and Spanish for the first semester of 2021.
There are various positions available at UFPE in free academic/professional English courses (Fundamentals 1, Fundamentals 2, intermediate, advanced, preparatory for Toefl and instrumental for master’s and doctoral); French (beginner); Italian (beginner) and Spanish (beginner). According to UFPE, the free courses in English and others will take place from March to July of this year.

Enrollment in the free English courses, among others, must be done at the courses and events portal of the Support Foundation for Development of UFPE (Fade-UFPE). For the basic level classes, registrations for the free courses go until March 3rd. The English courses at Fundamentals 2, intermediate and advanced levels require prior proof that the student is eligible to enroll in that class. Therefore, it is necessary to send documents before the enrollment is finalized.

Placement Tests
The Placement Test consists of two parts: Written and Oral Exam. The candidate may be exempt from the exam if they can prove their level with a declaration/certificate issued within the last 24 months. In that case, they must upload the documents at the placement scheduling link.
The tests will take place from 08 to 11/02, in the evening (timing and links will be sent).
