Good news for Ceará: the multinational Noxis Energy, controlled by Israeli capital, signed a pre-contract with the Pecém Industrial and Port Development Company (CIpp S/A) for the construction of an oil refinery that will initially have the capacity to produce 100,000 barrels daily.

With investments of USD 600 million, Noxis Energy also plans to build a similar refining unit in Sergipe, where the unit will be responsible for refining the input to produce marine fuel, oil intended for the supply of large ships, produced by vacuum distillation, with subsequent dilution.

The Secretary of Economic Development and Labor of the Ceará Government, Maia Júnior, told the A Coluna portal that Noris should develop the engineering and construction projects, for which it will need to establish contracts with the contractors it chooses.

The new company to manage the asset is Noxis Pecém. It is 50% Israeli and 50% from Noxis Energy. The international partners have production in Guyana.
