EDF Renewables, a leading multinational in renewable energy, has begun construction on the Serra de Seridó wind power plant, its first project in Paraíba. The estimated investment is R$ 1 billion. The total installed generation capacity of the new park will be 242 MW, which is equivalent to the consumption of 700 thousand Brazilian families per year. The start of operations for EDF Renewables’ project, which will create various job openings, is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2023.
