Horsch, German Multinational of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, Announces Investment in the Construction of a New Factory in Paraná
Horsch, a German multinational that is a manufacturer of agricultural machinery and equipment, announced an investment of 200 million reais to build a factory in the Industrial City of Curitiba, in the state of Paraná. The new unit could start operations at the beginning of next year, and the company plans to create around 300 jobs in the capital of Paraná. The New Factory of the Multinational in Paraná
The German multinational of agricultural machinery and equipment is not entirely new in Brazil. It has been operating in the country since 2017, in a rented warehouse in the capital of Paraná, in Campo do Santana. With the new investment, the company will move from a limited operation in a 3,000 m² warehouse on an 18,000 m² plot to a 158,000 m² area, of which 32,000 m² are covered.
It is estimated that the workforce will increase from the current 120 employees to 400 in five years in Joinville, in the state of Paraná. So far, R$ 50 million has already been invested to implement the first phase of the factory. With the German multinational’s factory fully operational, the Brazilian market alone will represent a significant position for the group’s overall results worldwide.

Rodrigo emphasizes that Horsch is ready to begin a solid expansion in Brazil, which is an excellent laboratory that can make adaptability quicker and better meet the production needs of different crops and regions of Brazil. The executive of the German multinational also says that the company will produce advanced technology machinery in this factory in Brazil, such as Artificial Intelligence that can learn and resolve problems that occur in the field during operation in the quickest moment.

With an investment of R$ 40 million and the creation of 130 new jobs, the city of Londrina, in the state of Paraná, will receive a new factory. The largest Brazilian unit of Rizobacter will be built in the municipality. The company is part of the Bioceres Crop Solutions group, listed on NASDAQ, a global provider of solutions designed for sustainability in the agribusiness sector.
The project foresees a new factory with two laboratories, a production warehouse, administrative office, and cafeteria, on an area of about 65,000 square meters. The venture is expected to generate approximately 130 new jobs in the city of Londrina, in Paraná. Mayor Marcelo Belinati celebrated the arrival of the multinational in Londrina. In addition to the impacts on the job market, he emphasizes that the establishment of the company also represents a new advance in the industrialization project in the municipality.
According to Nilton Elteto, the general manager of Rizobacter in Brazil, the location of Londrina was also taken into account when deciding to invest in the city to host the production factory for the line of adjuvants. He explains that the company’s headquarters is currently located in Cambé, and with the expansion, it was decided to keep the company’s operations in the region.
