Volkswagen Truck Lots Will Be Shipped Complete From The Factory In Rio De Janeiro To The Asian Country
VWCO will make available to the importer ten models for the Philippine market from the Delivery and Constellation truck families and the Volksbus buses. The Engineering department of Volkswagen Trucks and Buses was responsible for customizing the versions to meet technical, legal, and content demands of the new market.
The initial batch of 43 units is already completely sold, says VWCO. The importer, however, will be responsible for the assembly of the buses in its manufacturing unit located near the capital Manila. The trucks will be shipped complete from the factory in Resende, Rio de Janeiro.
According to VWCO, customers will have access to eight service points for sales and after-sales around the country, strategically located in the main logistics centers for cargo and people across the seven thousand islands of the Philippines.
