Multinational CEO Speaks Out
Susanna Marchionni, CEO of Planet in Brazil, emphasizes that the company chose the state in the Northeast region due to the economic growth indicators pointed out by the operations of the Port of Pecém.
As the state develops, the company arrives to offer housing and a better quality of life for the people of Ceará. In the Northeast state, the multinational’s projects have generated approximately 500 direct job positions and about 300 indirect ones, boosting the local economy and providing professional consultancy for local companies wishing to grow in their sector.
With quality infrastructure, sustainability, connectivity, and affordable prices, the multinational’s project is expanding in the Northeast to new cities in Rio Grande do Norte, in addition to Ceará.
Positive Brands Boosts the Economy
Positive Brands is a platform whose main brand is “A Tal da Castanha,” which sells plant-based beverages and is one of the leaders in the category in Brazilian territory. Another brand that is part of Positive Brands is Jungle, which is the first natural, organic sports drink produced using whole foods instead of additives.
The brand is growing and making Positive more well-known beyond the Northeast. Despite the economic moment, the company aims to further expand its products by launching vegan versions of all its offerings.
