The New Bajaj Motorcycle Is Expected to Expand the Brand’s Portfolio in Brazil, Bringing a 43 HP Engine, Advanced Electronic Package, Range of Up to 400 KM, and National Production in Manaus, with Expected Launch in the Last Quarter of 2025.
The Bajaj is preparing to launch its new naked 400 cm³ motorcycle in the Brazilian market with an enhanced technology package and a more powerful engine.
The expectation is to launch the model between October and November, after the recent capacity increase at the Manaus (AM) factory.
The motorcycle combines 43 HP, electronic throttle, four riding modes, and quickshifter, along with dashboard connectivity and an estimated range close to 400 KM, according to tests and consumption data from the equivalent model in India.

Launch in Brazil and Production in Manaus
According to the direction of Bajaj in the country, the presentation will take place in the last quarter of 2025, expanding the national portfolio to six models.
The schedule is supported by the expansion of the assembly line in Manaus, which can now produce up to 48 thousand motorcycles per year.
This structure should facilitate the localization of components and meet demand if the new model replicates the good commercial performance of the Dominar 400.

The 43 HP Engine and What Has Changed
The future Dominar NS 400Z shares the single-cylinder mechanical base of 373 cm³ with the Dominar 400, but in an updated configuration.
The latest calibration raises the power to 43 HP and maintains 35 Nm of torque, combined with a six-speed transmission with assisted and slipper clutch.
The idea remains that of a sporty naked for everyday use, with progressive power delivery for city riding and endurance for short trips.
Support Electronics and Riding Modes
The electronic throttle (ride-by-wire) enables four riding maps — typically Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road — that alter the engine response and ABS intervention according to the usage conditions.
The bike also features adjustable traction control and a brake system with discs on both wheels.
The quickshifter, a feature that allows shifting without engaging the clutch at certain RPM ranges, makes its debut in the setup and enhances the sporty character of the model.
Chassis and Brakes: What Supports the Package
On the structural side, the NS 400Z utilizes a 43 mm inverted front fork and a rear monoshock, a setup already known for its good stiffness and capacity to absorb irregular surfaces.
The 17-inch wheels are fitted with sporty profile tires, and the two-channel ABS adjusts the sensitivity according to the selected mode.
In urban riding, the goal is to offer smoother control.
In sporty mode, the proposal is to prioritize quick responses and less intervention from the aids.
Design, Lighting, and Finishing
The visual language follows the Pulsar family with angular lines, a compact front, and a raised rear.

The lighting system is entirely LED, with a central projector and daylight running lights (DRL) that create a unique signature.
Compared to the Dominar 400, the design prioritizes lightness and sportiness, with fewer appendages aimed at road comfort and a greater focus on streetfighter aesthetics.
Dashboard and Connectivity in Daily Life
The instrument cluster is digital and includes a colored area dedicated to Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call and message notifications, as well as riding mode adjustments and traction control.
There are also useful features such as a lap timer, gear indicator, and trip parameters, elements that bring the model closer to more expensive rivals in the mid-range segment.
Range: How the 400 KM Is Achieved
Consumption reports for the model sold in India indicate averages around 32.5 km/l in mixed use.
With a 12-liter tank, the range between refuels hovers around 390 KM, a number that supports the estimate of up to 400 KM under favorable conditions.
In practice, variables such as loaded weight, temperature, type of fuel, and tire pressure influence the result.
Even so, the efficiency of the setup places the NS 400Z among the most economical options in its class.
Commercial Name and Registration in Brazil
Bajaj has registered the model’s design with the INPI, a step that usually precedes local launches.
Abroad, the motorcycle is known as Pulsar NS 400Z.
In the Brazilian market, industry sources suggest that the brand should adopt the name Dominar NS 400Z to align the new model with the family already known here.
However, the official confirmation of the name has not yet been disclosed by the subsidiary.
Price: Where the New 400 May Position Itself
The price has not yet been announced for Brazil. As a reference, the Dominar 400 costs R$ 26,500 in the country.
In India, the NS 400Z is usually positioned below the equivalent Dominar, creating a puzzle regarding positioning here.
While the company has not detailed versions and equipment of the national configuration, any figure would be speculation.
What is known is that the goal is to maintain competitiveness against rivals in the 300–400 cm³ range with a comparable electronic package.
What to Expect from the Final Package in the Country
Apart from the natural homologation adjustments, the expectation is that Brazil will receive the latest configuration, with 43 HP, quickshifter, four modes, and full connectivity.
Inverted front suspension, two-channel ABS, and full-LED lighting round out the setup.
If it maintains a balance between price and equipment, the new 400 cc has the potential to share the spotlight with the Dominar and expand the brand’s presence on Brazilian streets.
With this performance setup, electronics, and range per tank, what price range do you imagine would be the most competitive for the Dominar NS 400Z in Brazil?
