The Mottu Sport 110, a cheap motorcycle manufactured by the Indian TVS and offered by the startup Mottu in Brazil, has reached a significant milestone in the Brazilian market. The TVS Sport 110 has surpassed the Yamaha Factor and has already sold over 50 thousand registered units in the country in 2024, between January and November.

With this result, the TVS Sport 110 is the 6th most registered motorcycle in the country, behind only Honda products. The current top 5 list includes the CG 160, Biz, Pop 110i, Bros 160, and CB 300F Twister.

It is worth mentioning that a large part of the registrations of the cheap motorcycle, which has surpassed the Yamaha Factor, is intended for rental, a service offered by the company through an app. However, since the beginning of the year, the company has also offered the TVS Sport 110 for sale on its website.

What Does The Indian Motorcycle Deliver?

With units for rental and others for sale, there are no precise data on the proportion between the units sold directly to the public and those acquired by the company for rental. The cheap motorcycle, which surpassed the Yamaha Factor, uses an air-cooled single-cylinder engine, but with a capacity of 109.7 cm³. It delivers 8.1 horsepower at 7,350 rpm and 0.9 kgfm of torque at 4,500 RPM, always running on gasoline.

The TVS Sport 110 has a four-speed mechanical transmission; however, with inverted engagements, all going upward. The start is done only by pedal. The brand claims a top speed of 100 km/h for the Indian motorcycle, with an average consumption of 65 km/l.

The announced dimensions include a length of 1,950 mm, width of 705 mm, height of 1,080 mm, and a wheelbase of 1,235 mm. The ground clearance is 175 mm and the weight in running order is 110 kg.
