The Urban Trail Motorcycle Comes to Compete with Models Like Dafra NH 190 and Honda XRE 190, Offering an Adventurous Design, High Performance, and Competitive Price

In 2024, Shineray continues its expansion in the Brazilian market and launched the new Shineray Storm 200, an urban trail motorcycle designed to win over motorcyclists looking for versatility and performance. With the success of the brand that already ranks among the three largest in Brazil, the Storm 200 arrives to directly rival competitors like the Dafra NH 190 and the Honda XRE 190, but bringing advantages that make it a highly attractive option, according to the website Terra Brasil Notícias.

Design and Adventurous Style of the Storm 200

The new Shineray Storm 200 impresses with its robust visual, inspired by adventure bikes, but with features that favor urban use. Its “crossover” design mixes elements of a trail and naked motorcycle, equipped with long-travel suspension, ensuring great performance on rough terrain, and 17-inch spoked wheels that provide stability on asphalt.

Another highlight of the motorcycle in the market design are the asymmetrical LED headlights, a taillight, and turn signals also in LED, offering not only a modern appearance but also efficiency in terms of lighting. The Storm 200 was made for those looking for a motorcycle with a distinctive aesthetic but that is also functional in daily use.

Performance and Technical Specifications

In terms of performance, the Storm 200 does not disappoint. The motorcycle is equipped with a single-cylinder engine of 198.13 cm³, with liquid cooling and four valves, delivering 20.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and torque of 1.83 kgf.m at 7,500 rpm. Compared to its competitors, the Shineray Storm 200 is more powerful, offering a six-speed transmission that provides a smooth and efficient ride both in the city and on highways.

The motorcycle also features a robust cycling set, with a diamond-type steel chassis and 17-inch alloy wheels, reaffirming its suitability for urban use. With a low seat of only 79 cm from the ground and a split seat with soft foam, comfort during extended use is guaranteed.

Equipment and Technology

In addition to design and performance, the Shineray Storm 200 has a range of technological features that make it a distinctive motorcycle in the market. Among the highlights are:

  • Upside-down front suspension, which offers greater stability and impact absorption;
  • Disc brakes on both wheels with ABS system, providing greater safety during braking;
  • Complete digital panel, with the option to change background colors, making it easier to view information in a modern and customizable way.

Competitive Price and Purchase Options

The Storm 200 arrives at Shineray dealerships in September 2024 with a suggested price of R$ 18,990, placing it in a competitive position in the market. The price is similar to that of the Dafra NH 190, but lower than that of the Honda XRE 190, which costs R$ 20,770. In addition, the Storm 200 will be available in three colors: yellow, gray, and black, catering to different consumer preferences.

An important point is the two-year warranty offered by Shineray, something uncommon in the brand’s motorcycle segment, increasing consumer confidence in the durability and reliability of the model.
