Discover the XBRI Innovation for Tire Retreading That Promises Greater Durability and Efficiency for Truck and Bus Fleets
XBRI Tires, a Brazilian brand recognized in the tire sector, announced the expansion of its portfolio with the launch of retreading bands for cargo. The news arrives in the market in response to the increase in demand for innovative solutions in the tire sector.
According to Samer Nasser, Director of Institutional Relations at XBRI Tires, “retreading is a strategic solution for Brazilian transporters, and we believe our bands will meet the growing demand for economical and efficient options.”
Strategic Partnership with Moreflex
The new product line is the result of a partnership with Moreflex, a renowned manufacturer in the retreading market, which has over 30 years of experience. The production of the retreading bands will take place in Portão, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This partnership aims to bring high-performance products to meet the specific needs of the Brazilian market.

Cost Reduction for Transporters
The cost of tires represents the second largest operational expense for Brazilian transporters, coming in only after diesel. The rapid deterioration of tires is a constant challenge for truck drivers and transporters.
With this in mind, XBRI Tires launched models like Curve Plus F1 and Forza Plus F1, which offer superior performance and cost reduction, standing out as an economical alternative for the sector.
According to Nasser, many truck and bus owners prefer to acquire tires with quality casings, intending to retread them in the future, opting for retreading bands from the same brand.
Diversification with Private Label Lubricants
Another highlight from XBRI Tires was the launch, in July of this year, of its own line of lubricants. The new line caters to a variety of vehicles and follows strict market guidelines, both national and international.
The lubricants from XBRI are certified by important institutions, such as ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels), API (American Petroleum Institute), ACEA (Driving Mobility for Europe), JASO (Japanese Automotive Standards Organization), and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers).
Retreading: Economy and Sustainability
Experts indicate that retreading is an economical and sustainable alternative. Retreading a tire costs about one-third of the value of a new tire and offers the same mileage, using only 20% of the materials needed to produce a new tire.
This process, in addition to reducing costs for transporters, contributes to the sustainability of the sector by minimizing material waste and emissions.
Anésio M. Robert, Marketing Director at Moreflex, emphasizes the importance of rigorous maintenance to ensure the quality of retreaded tires. “Transporters opt for robust tires, designed to face the adverse conditions of Brazilian roads and withstand multiple retreads. This allows them to effectively reduce the cost per kilometer traveled,” he explains.
