The Innovation Agency for Sustainable Rural Development of Goiás (Emater-GO) announced the opening of a new selection process to fill 25 positions in various roles. The goal is to hire professionals at technical and higher levels to work in the organization for a fixed term, with the possibility of extension. Applications are open from September 12 and will close on September 25, 2024.

Applications will be open starting at 12:00 PM on September 12 and will close at 11:59 PM on September 25, 2024.
The application fee varies according to the desired position. For the Agricultural Technician position, the fee is R$ 15.00. For the Junior Veterinary Doctor and Zootechnician positions, the fee is R$ 50.00. For the Engineering positions, the fee is R$ 70.00.
Available Positions and Required Qualifications
The available positions are for the following roles:
- Technical Level:
- Agricultural Technician (19 positions).
- Higher Level:
- Agronomist Engineer — Mid-Level (1 position);
- Food Engineer — Mid-Level (1 position);
- Junior Veterinary Doctor (1 position);
- Forest Engineer — Mid-Level (1 position);
- Fishing Engineer — Mid-Level (1 position);
- Zootechnician (1 position).
To compete for the positions, candidates must meet a series of requirements. It is necessary to prove the required education for each position and have registration with the respective professional council.
In addition, candidates must be at least 18 years old and, for some positions, must have a National Driver’s License (CNH) in category “B”.
Remuneration and Benefits Offered in the Selection Process
The salaries offered range from R$ 2,615.50 to R$ 9,000.00, depending on the position and the candidate’s level of experience.
In addition to the salary, hired candidates will receive a meal voucher worth R$ 500.00. The work schedule is 40 hours per week for the positions of Agricultural Technician, Junior Veterinary Doctor, and Zootechnician.
Contracts will have an initial duration of up to three years, with the possibility of extension for another two years, totaling a maximum period of five years.
Stages of the Emater Selection Process
The selection process will consist of two main stages:
- Curriculum Analysis: This stage is classificatory and eliminatory, where candidates will be evaluated based on their resumes. Criteria such as complementary courses, academic background, and professional experience will be scored.
- Interview: Also classificatory and eliminatory, the interview will assess the knowledge acquired and the professional experience of candidates concerning the responsibilities of the position they are applying for.
The selection process will be valid for two years from the publication of the result in the Official State Gazette of Goiás. The validity may be extended for an equal period if necessary.
