If you were waiting for a golden opportunity to start higher education at a federal university, the time has come. The Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), through the Superintendency of Technologies in Education (STED), has launched Notice No. 001/2026 offering 1,700 spots for distance learning courses. This is your chance to enroll in a quality bachelor’s degree in the fields of Administration and Management, with a selection process without traditional exams, focused on analyzing your school history.
The notice aims not only at professional training but also to meet the National Policy for Teacher Training and directly contribute to the local development of the regions served. “This Notice addresses the call for the Bachelor’s Courses in Administration and Technologist in Quality Management,” connecting you to the job market in a practical and accessible way.
Objectives and Methodology of the EaD Courses
The main objective of this selection process is to democratize access to public higher education. The courses are offered in the Distance Education (EaD) mode, which guarantees flexibility to study wherever you are.
-

However, it is crucial to understand that “EaD” does not mean studying alone all the time. The methodology is hybrid, requiring a real commitment from the student. You will need to be available to participate in in-person meetings at the chosen site, which may occur even on Saturdays, both during the day and at night. Additionally, the academic routine includes mandatory participation in online classes and weekly in-person meetings. In other words, it is a free course that demands dedication to ensure your excellent training.
