The University of the Oil and Gas Sector (UNIBP) Will Offer Eight New Courses for Industry Professionals in March, Six of Them with Technical Focus.
However, the first class of the MBE (Master in Business Engineering) Energy will also take place, with enrollment open. The partnership between UNIBP and PUC-Rio offers a Lato Sensu postgraduate course aimed at professionals in the engineering, planning, and energy regulation fields.
Among the topics covered will be: energy transition, industry challenges to meet global demands in light of climate change, offshore wind generation, green hydrogen, and efficiency in consumption.
The technical courses in March will address topics such as Structural Integrity; Accident, Incident, and Deviation Analysis; Corrosion and Inhibitors; Technical, Regulatory, and Tax Concepts Applied to Natural Gas; Safety Valves and Pressure Relief Devices. All classes will be held remotely with a workload ranging from 24 to 40 hours, except for the course on Taxation in the Business of the Natural Gas Sector, which will be in-person.
