Promotion Valid for Nubank Customers: 50% Discount on Uber Rides and Chance for Free Rides in Custom Cars Up to R$ 100.

Nubank announced an unprecedented partnership with Uber in Brazil, valid from September 16 to October 16, 2025, that promises to benefit millions of users. The agreement offers a 50% discount on rides paid with a Nubank card, whether credit or debit, or through the NuPay service. However, the discount is limited to R$ 15 per ride, and each customer can only take advantage of the promotion once, as the coupons are restricted.

To access the benefit, simply enter the promotional code NUBER50 directly in the Uber app before requesting the ride. Thus, the discount is automatically applied to the final amount, provided that the payment is made with Nubank services.

Free Rides in Special Cars

The partnership is not limited to the 50% discount. In São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Uber has deployed 120 custom vehicles within the UberX category. Those lucky enough to be served by one of these cars will be entitled to a completely free ride.

The value of the ride is reimbursed within one business day as credit within the app itself, with a limit of up to R$ 100 per ride.

This promotional action was designed to attract attention in the two largest cities in the country and to enhance brand experience for both Nubank and Uber, making the benefit even more memorable for users who use the themed cars.

Companies’ Strategy with the Partnership

The move is strategic for both parties. For Nubank, it represents another step in the effort to build loyalty, delivering tangible benefits to a base that has already surpassed 100 million customers.

For Uber, the agreement strengthens its position in the urban mobility market and reinforces the appeal of affordable pricing, especially in a scenario of high demand for ride-hailing services.

This combination of convenience and savings positions the partnership as an aggressive marketing move that seeks to win new customers while also valuing those who already use the services of both companies.

Attention to Rules and Limitations

Despite being appealing, the promotion comes with some important conditions. The 50% discount can only be used once per customer and is subject to coupon availability, which may run out quickly. Free rides in custom cars are limited to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with a maximum value of R$ 100 per ride.

These limitations are part of the commercial strategy to scale the campaign without compromising the financial sustainability of the companies, but still ensure concrete gains for consumers.
