Discover the Aptera 2024: The Solar Electric Car with a Range of 1,600 Km. Free Energy and Revolutionary Design! Reserve Yours Now Starting at US$26,500
It seems like a utopia. A solar electric car that recharges its batteries for free while parked. And it will finally become a reality this year.
Aptera already has its long-awaited solar electric car ready, which will start mass production this very year and is steadily taking important steps in its industrialization process, but also in its international commercialization.
We are talking about an extremely exotic vehicle that, aside from its design, opened its reservations starting at 26,500 dollars (practically the price of a Toyota Prius or Camry in the United States) and promises to achieve a range of up to 1,600 kilometers and recharge up to 64 kilometers per day with solar energy while parked.
-
Nissan X-Trail e-Power debuts as a hybrid SUV that runs like an electric vehicle, uses a 1.5 turbo engine only as a generator, promises up to 1,039 km per tank, and arrives in the Philippines with 204 hp, a 482-liter trunk, and a competitive price.
-
Cheaper than Civic and Corolla, this Korean sedan offers a giant 520-liter trunk, 2.0 flex engine, and 6-speed automatic transmission; the Kia Cerato EX 2.0 2022 stands out as an ideal option for those who prioritize interior space and comfort.
-
An old Nissan Bluebird received the motor, inverter, and battery from the Leaf, became electric, and kept the body intact in a conversion done in the United Kingdom.

The car that most Brazilians buy today may cease to exist by 2030, and automakers already know that the 1.0 aspirated engine with manual transmission is numbered in the country.
The Aptera Can Recharge Its Batteries While Parked, Gaining Up to 64 Kilometers of Free Range Per Day in Favorable Conditions.

Free Energy, Recharging While Parked in the Sun
We said that the Aptera is an exotic car, which somehow becomes a greater challenge for its industrialization. The Aptera features a monocoque body shaped like a water droplet and an axle design, with suspensions and its three wheels separate from the bodywork, which are key to making this two-seater compact, light, but above all aerodynamic, in order to maximize its range to numbers impossible for any other electric car while maintaining batteries of reasonable capacity, size, and mass.
Aptera has already sent its first complete and production-ready body to its headquarters in Carlsbad, California. And it is working on the production of the geometry of the suspensions, with the goal of starting mass production by the end of 2024.
We insist that the process has not been simple. We are talking about the design of a vehicle with a revolutionary concept, securing the investment to move it forward, and surviving until the process leading to its manufacturing and, of course, its industrialization. We expected Aptera to launch its solar electric car in 2022, and finally, if it meets the deadlines it has set, mass production will begin this year, 2024.
The Production of This Electric Vehicle That Will Offer Up to 1,600 Kilometers of Range Will Start This Year

Starting at 26,500 Dollars, Up to 1,600 Km of Range
- Aptera has begun reservations, with a deposit of 100 dollars. And it has done this with a Launch Edition that for 33,200 dollars promises a range of 644 kilometers and that will have solar panels on the roof, dashboard, hood, and rear window, to reach its maximum solar recharge, which in favorable conditions could reach 64 kilometers per day.
- There will be a version with only 322 kilometers of range and fewer solar panels, as well as front-wheel drive, starting from 26,500 dollars.
- If we configure it with all available extras, with all the solar panels and 100 kWh batteries, we would have the version with 1,609 kilometers of range and all-wheel drive, available for 48,300 dollars.
The Aptera bases its efficiency precisely on its lightweight construction and aerodynamics, which allows to maximize its range and also allows every kWh of solar recharge to be utilized to the fullest. Our skepticism about the possibility of a car being able to recharge while parked in the sun and achieve reasonable results lay in the low capacity of solar panels to produce energy and, primarily, the surface limitations that a car’s design offers to install higher power photovoltaic generators.

The Solar Electric Car from Aptera Will Finally Arrive This Year
Aptera announces to its investors that it has already secured more than 46,000 reservations and that it could potentially sell 10,000 units in 2025 and reach a potential market of 600,000 units per year. Although the start of its production will be aimed at the United States, Aptera has set an international projection for the product that, after the not simple process of adaptation and homologation, could lead it to other markets such as Europe.
Recently, it announced its expansion to the United Arab Emirates, a market for which it created a special limited edition of 53 units. To access it, Aptera invited investors who contribute at least 27,000 dollars to secure the right to purchase one.

Que coisa horrivel, vai vender umas 10 unidades e falir essa empresa.
Particularmente, não tenho a capacidade em aceitar como interessante uma COISA dessa.
