The Collaboration Between OAB-PR and WNI Smart Energy Promises Energy and Economic Transformation in the Region.
The Brazilian photovoltaic solar energy scenario is thriving. The latest report from the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE) reveals an impressive 57% increase in the generation of this type of energy in September compared to the previous year. In response to this promising scenario, the Brazilian Bar Association in Paraná (OAB-PR) decided to take action, announcing the inauguration of 11 new solar plants. In partnership with WNI Smart Energy, these plants will provide energy support to over 50 OAB-PR units across the state.
Locations and Green Energy
Distributed across cities such as Curitiba, Londrina, Maringá, and more, the plants are not only a milestone for solar energy but also for mobility. The initiative includes the deployment of charging stations for electric vehicles, all in compliance with ABNT standards. This holistic project represents a powerful mix of 1,006 solar panels that translates to a substantial CO2 savings, equivalent to the cultivation of 1,436 trees.
Besides the obvious ecological benefit, there is also a significant economic impact. Marilena Indira Winter, president of OAB-PR, emphasizes that this project is “aligned with the sustainable development goals outlined in the UN Global Compact.” And it’s not just nature that benefits; the wallet does too. It is estimated that the savings on energy bills will reach 65%, a welcome relief for the organization’s finances.

The world has bet on green hydrogen as the fuel of the future, but now faces the side effect: producing 1 kilogram requires about 9 liters of ultrapure water, and the largest projects on the planet are precisely in the driest regions of the Earth, where water is already scarce for people.

Africa has about 500,000 cell towers and most still burn diesel to operate, while companies rush to cover antennas with solar energy and avoid signal blackouts.
The Contribution of WNI Smart Energy
Behind this ambitious venture is WNI Smart Energy, a company with two decades of market experience and a comprehensive portfolio, serving over 100 clients in various regions of Brazil. Felipe Scandelari, director of WNI, expresses the company’s desire to be “a partner in sustainable development.” With a track record of successful projects, WNI has stood out as one of the leading solar energy companies in the south of the country.
However, WNI Smart Energy’s expertise is not limited to energy alone. Part of the WNI Technology Group, the company has diverse skills, ranging from telecommunications to lighting solutions for industries and soccer stadiums. In this project with OAB-PR, the projected savings for the plants were 65%, but recent months have shown even better performance, with average savings of 67%.
The partnership between OAB-PR and WNI Smart Energy demonstrates how strategic partnerships and technological innovation can create solutions that benefit both the environment and the economy. And in this case, with the sun shining over Paraná, the future looks decidedly brighter and greener.
