Event Discusses Low Carbon Emissions and Remote Operations in Pre-Salt Fields
Rio de Janeiro, May 22, 2023 – Ocyan, a leading company in the FPSO sector, will prominently participate in the highly anticipated FPSO Brazil Congress 2023, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro from May 23 to 26. It is worth noting that it recently transferred some of its businesses to a new company.
The annual event will highlight the future of the FPSO industry in Brazil, focusing on pre-salt fields as well as the planned projects for production vessels in those areas by 2026. Additionally, innovative technologies and tools to reduce carbon emissions during operations will be discussed.
According to Jorge Mitieri, Executive Vice President of the Integrated Services Unit at Ocyan, the company’s ongoing participation in the event is a recognition of its work and expertise in the sector.
