For the works to begin, Olfar received support from the authorities of the municipality of Porangatu. The City Council unanimously approved the allocation of a 37-hectare plot of land, where the new plant will be installed. Mayor Vanuza Valadares reported that she considers this moment a historical milestone for the city’s development.

At the event, Olfar’s president, José Carlos Weschenfelder, spoke about the significant impact the complex will have not only on the city but also on the entire northern region of Goiás, something that will enhance development, as well as generate jobs and income, bringing more quality of life to employees. Another very positive point is the support for Agribusiness, which will certainly receive more technical assistance and improved support from the company, from planting to harvesting.

“We thank the partnership of the City Council and the Executive Power, as well as the welcoming Porangatu community, which, since the beginning of operations, has welcomed the company warmly,” Weschenfelder said.
