Announces Brazil’s Entry as a Member Starting Next Month, According to a Statement from a Representative to Reuters News Agency. Opec+ Comprises the Leading Oil Producing Countries.

According to a representative of the organization, Brazil is planning to join the Opec+ starting next month. The largest alliance of oil producers in the world, known for controlling the commodity’s production, will meet this week to discuss potential cuts in production.

However, the Federal Government stated that it is assessing the situation before making a decision on the matter.
