The Company Responsible For The Construction Of The Solar Power Plants Of Panvel Pharmacies In Rio Grande Do Sul Will Be GreenYellow, A Company Specialized In Renewable Energy
The selected company to build two solar power plants for Panvel Pharmacies in the state of Rio Grande do Sul was the French renewable energy company GreenYellow. The construction of the new solar plants will allow more than 80 drugstores in the pharmacy chain to generate their own energy.

According to the contract, GreenYellow will supply about 4.88 GWh of electricity per year, thus meeting the needs of 80 Panvel Pharmacies drugstores – information released by the renewable energy company last week. GreenYellow will invest R$ 12 million in the two solar power plants in Rio Grande do Sul.
The renewable energy company aims to build the solar power plants in the municipality of Sentinela do Sul. The more than 4,690 solar panels will help Panvel Pharmacies reduce approximately 570 tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere each year.

Shortly thereafter, in June of last year (2020), Panvel Pharmacies completed the installation of two more plants, in Montenegro and Rosário do Sul.
