About the Gas Treatment Units in ES of Petrobras
UTG-Sul
UTG-Sul enables the supply of gas produced in the Whale Park, a set of oil fields located north of the Campos Basin, on the coast of Espírito Santo, to the national market.
UTG Sul Capixaba is part of the National Gas Production Anticipation Plan (Plangás) and has a nominal capacity to process up to 2.5 million cubic meters of gas daily. It is interconnected to the Southeast-Northeast Gas Pipeline (Gasene) by a 10-kilometer pipeline, allowing for both local and national market supply.
UTGC
Opened on February 6, 2006, the unit has the capacity to process 18.1 million cubic meters of natural gas per day, making it one of the largest gas processing hubs in the country.
The unit processes gas from the offshore fields of Peroá, Canapu, Cangoá, and Golfinho, in the Espírito Santo Basin, as well as the Whale Park, located in the northern portion of the Campos Basin.
