About the Rota 3 Petrobras Project
The Integrated Rota 3 Project, under construction in Itaboraí (RJ), will be the third route for transporting natural gas production from Petrobras fields in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin and will have the capacity to process up to 21 million cubic meters of gas per day.
The works of the Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) are progressing on schedule, as is the installation of the onshore pipeline connecting Maricá to the GasLub Polo in Itaboraí. The works are expected to be completed in 2021.
