Agreement Involves Payment of R$ 601 Million (Value Based on June/22) by the Company, Already Provided for in Petrobras’ Financial Statements.
Petrobras, continuing the statement released on 10/22/2021, informs that it signed on July 1st, an agreement with the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) related to the collection of royalties on the operation of the Shale Industrialization Unit (SIX), located in São Mateus do Sul, Paraná state, as well as the concession contract to regulate the research and extraction of shale at the SIX.
According to the Brazilian oil company, the agreement is subject to judicial approval and, once approved, will terminate all judicial and administrative proceedings related to the collection of royalties and administrative fines resulting from the extraction of bituminous shale exercised at the SIX.
Petrobras also stated that the agreement involves the payment of R$ 601 million (value based on June/22) by the company, already provided for in the state-owned company’s financial statements.

The Brazilian Oil Giant Calls on Companies and Startups for the Acquisition of Solutions in the Areas of Robotics, Inspection Technology, and Digital Technologies
Petrobras launched new opportunities for contracting innovative solutions this morning (07/04), with an investment of up to R$ 21.2 million, aimed at technology companies and startups. This marks the beginning of the module Acquisition of Solutions, which in this cycle selects innovations in the areas of robotics, inspection technologies, and digital technologies.
Applications are open until 07/31, and companies can receive up to R$ 1.6 million per proposal for the development and testing of solutions in productive environments.
The selection process for companies includes a pre-assessment by a panel of specialists, followed by a technical mentoring phase for the enhancement of the work plan, business model, and preparation for a pitch day where companies present their proposals to a panel formed by managers and specialists from Petrobras. In the evaluation, criteria such as the business model, solution implementation at the end of the project, consistency and competitiveness of the proposal, impact and value generation, scalability, and scope of the solution are considered.
