In an official statement to the press on Monday (10), Petrobras announced it has started the process of selling up to 100% of its concession in BM-S-51, in the pre-salt polygon in the Santos Basin, off the coast of São Paulo.

The goal of the Brazilian state-owned company is to transfer the operations of the asset, where it currently holds 80% and is the majority operator, while Repsol Sinopec Brasil holds the remaining 20%.
