K9 Jets was founded by Adam Golder due to a growing demand from pet owners who wanted to share the cost of private jets for transatlantic trips. “We quickly realized that this was a dedicated service that was still not being offered. With the rising costs of traditional pet transportation, we decided to launch K9 Jets,” Golder commented in an interview with Arabian Business.
Growth And Demand

Since its inception, K9 Jets has transported over 1,520 dogs and 80 cats to various destinations around the world.
The service has gained notoriety in cities like Dubai, where the number of pet owners has significantly increased, driven by the rise in expatriates coming from Europe and the United Kingdom.
This audience seeks not only safe transport for their animals but also a premium travel experience that reflects the high-quality lifestyle they enjoy in the United Arab Emirates.
The increased demand on specific routes, such as Dubai-London, has resulted in more frequent flights for this connection.
In addition, Golder revealed ambitious expansion plans for new routes, with growing interest in destinations in the United States, Asia, and Australia, expected for 2025.
What Is Included In The Price In Dubai?
With fares reaching AED 13,850 (around US$ 3,770) for the Los Angeles route, K9 Jets ensures there are no hidden costs. The price includes a seat for a human passenger and up to two pets weighing a maximum of 50 pounds (approx. 23 kg), or one large pet over 50 pounds (approx. 23 kg).
Additionally, passengers can enjoy exclusive onboard service, with three-course meals, afternoon tea, and an open bar.
This structure is highly valued by K9 Jets’ clients, and according to Golder, there are no plans to modify or add new packages to the service currently offered.
K9 Jets stands out for the level of care it provides to pets, with impressive examples of dedication. Golder highlighted a recent case in which the team arranged a special elevator for an elderly three-legged dog named Daisy, who needed to be taken to the United States.
“Due to Daisy’s age and mobility issues, she couldn’t climb the stairs of the airplane. So, we made a special arrangement to ensure she could get on and off the aircraft safely,” Golder reported.
New Destinations And Expansion
Currently, K9 Jets offers flights to cities like London, Milan, New Jersey, Frankfurt, Paris, Dublin, Dubai, and Geneva. The company is attentive to customer demands and is in negotiations to open new routes to America, Asia, and Australia.
This move aims to cater to the increasing number of pet owners who see their animals as family members and want to provide the best for them, regardless of distance.
The pet transportation service market has experienced exponential growth. In 2022, the sector was valued at US$ 1.85 billion and, according to projections, will reach US$ 2.06 billion in 2023, with an annual growth rate of 11.6%.
