PetroReconcavo Wins Public Call to Supply Natural Gas to PBGÁS. The contract to be signed in the first week of November will last for two years, providing 50,000 m³/day of natural gas in 2022, and 150,000 m³/day in 2023. The supplied input will be produced from the 32 concessions operated by PetroReconcavo’s subsidiary, Potiguar E&P, in Rio Grande do Norte.

PetroReconcavo Aims to Become One of the Main Gas Suppliers in the Northeast Region
According to the CEO of PetroReconcavo and Potiguar E&P, Marcelo Magalhães, the Company will remain steadfast in its goal of becoming one of the main suppliers of the input in the Northeast Region.
“We seek to capture the best opportunities generated in this new market and are actively participating in public calls. Later on, we hope to advance supply to industrial consumers within the free market. We are confident in our development and expansion plan, which aligns with the macro objective of leading the transformation of the onshore oil and gas market in Brazil. The benefits will be immense for the industry and for the country,” he states.

Recently, PetroReconcavo signed a two-year contract with the Potiguar Gas Company (Potigás), a distributor in Rio Grande do Norte, for the delivery of 236,000 m³/day of natural gas starting January 1, 2022. The Company also has a memorandum of understanding, in which all natural gas produced and processed at the Miranga Pole will be marketed by Bahiagás.
