In a surprising move, Manaus City Hall announced a unique opportunity. The city, known for its natural beauty and human warmth, now offers an unmissable chance for those looking to enter the public sector on a temporary basis.

Manaus City Hall opened a Simplified Selection Process (PSS) aimed at temporarily hiring 300 vaccinators/registrars.

This initiative aims to reinforce the 2024 Animal Rabies Vaccination Campaign, a vital project for the local public health.

According to the notice published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality last Thursday (01), the campaign will be coordinated by the Semsa Zoonosis Control Center (Municipal Health Department).

Vaccination is scheduled to take place between September 23rd and December 12th. Servers will have a 36-hour work week, distributed from Monday to Saturday, from 7:30 am to 13:30 pm. This workload was strategically defined to ensure maximum vaccination coverage in the city.

City Hall remuneration and benefits

The monthly remuneration offered is R$1.412,00, which corresponds to a minimum wage, in addition to other benefits such as compensation for unhealthy work with moderate risk, transportation allowance and family allowance. These extras make the vacancy even more attractive, providing extra income for the professionals hired..

Requirements and classification criteria

To apply, the candidate must have completed primary education. Classification in the PSS will take into account the candidate's training and experience in the area of zoonoses.

Professional courses and specific qualifications will be considered, in addition to the course load and academic record (when available).

History of success of the vaccination campaign

Last year, the anti-rabies vaccination campaign in the capital was a great success. In 2023, 262.177 animals were immunized, including 182.061 dogs and 80.116 cats. This result highlights the importance and efficiency of the program, in addition to demonstrating the city hall's commitment to public health.

How to register for the selection process

Interested parties should access the complete notice through the official website of Manaus City Hall (http://dom.manaus.am.gov.br). Registration will be carried out exclusively via email (http://pssemsa.manaus.am.gov.br) and will be open from midnight on August 5th, with a deadline of August 9th. Don't miss this opportunity to secure your spot!

If you have the desired profile and want to contribute to public health in Manaus, be sure to sign up. This is a unique chance to make a difference and, at the same time, secure a temporary stable income.
