The Global Trainee Program (GTP) is a strategic tool aimed at developing and training young talents while they learn about Tenaris’s industrial experience and acquire its values through contact with the plant. The two-year program has the following main elements:
-
India completes tests of Project Kusha, its own long-range air defense shield to shoot down aircraft and missiles hundreds of kilometers away.
-
The Iron Beam combat laser from Israel goes into real operation and starts shooting down drones for about three and a half dollars per shot.
-
Europe narrows down the interceptor project that will attempt to shoot down hypersonic missiles flying at thousands of kilometers per hour.
-
India is finishing testing a microwave weapon capable of frying the electronics of drone swarms from a distance, without firing a single shot.
Rotation: Rotation is desired within the program. Trainees can spend time in at least two different areas. This change of department, supervisor, and objectives allows trainees to familiarize themselves with different areas of the company and leadership styles.
Training: An essential part of the trainees’ formation, the training includes: online courses, in-person technical and behavioral training, and a 1-month international experience in Argentina (TenarisUniversity Induction Camp – TUIC).
Evaluations and Follow-ups: Twice a year, trainees are evaluated based on their performance and potential by a committee composed of the company’s leaders, internal clients/suppliers, and human resources.
*Trainee program with a flexible graduation period applicable according to proportional professional experience to the period.
