The SENAC in Juiz de Fora (National Service of Learning) is offering 480 positions in free courses in the city of Juiz de Fora. The positions in the free courses are part of the Senac Free Program, meaning they are aimed at individuals with low family income, according to the Jornal Tribuna de Minas.

According to Senac’s rules, the candidate’s family income per month must not exceed two minimum wages.

Objective of the Free Course Positions Program from Senac

According to Senac, the objective of offering positions in free courses is to expand access to professional and technological education. The Program is the result of an agreement signed in 2008 between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Finance, the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) and Senac.

According to the director of Senac, Luiz Paulo Smargiassi: “In 2022, we had a great demand for courses at the unit. We served more than eight thousand people in our surrounding area, not just in Juiz de Fora, and most of the positions were filled by the Senac Free Program. For this year, expectations are high.”
