With Machinery Imported from Spain, the New Space Will Start Operating by the End of the Year
Founded in 1995 as a regional company, Perfil Alumínio has become one of the largest and most complete in the aluminum sector in Brazil. Its factory, located in the Ribeira neighborhood in Viana, is more than doubling in size with new investments totaling R$ 90 million.
The new space has machinery imported from Spain and will begin operations by the end of this year. With this investment, the factory, which currently has 466 employees, will employ 566 people, as 100 new jobs will be created. In addition, Perfil Alumínio’s production will increase by 130%.
Investments Will Allow Perfil Alumínio to Produce 1.6 Thousand Tons of Aluminum per Month
The company’s current production line has the capacity to process 700 tons of aluminum per month. With the expansion of the factory, the capacity will rise to 1.6 thousand tons of aluminum per month, representing a 130% increase in production. “Perfil transforms aluminum billets into frames, structures for closing balconies, supports for photovoltaic panels, in short, into a range of products,” explains Alexandre Casasco, director of Perfil Alumínio.

According to Casasco, the new production line will have a new extruder and a new painting machine with Italian technology. “This new factory will allow us to continue gaining market share in Brazil and to start exporting to the United States, of course, without losing our market share here in the state.”
Third Assembly Line of Perfil Alumínio to Begin Construction in 2025
The construction industry is the largest client of Perfil Alumínio: 10% of the aluminum used by construction companies comes from the factory in Viana. Meanwhile, in Espírito Santo, 95% of the consumed aluminum is purchased from the company. The growth of the sector, mainly due to the expansion of solar energy, suggests a company expansion.
In addition to the exponential growth of solar energy in Brazil, which has a high demand for aluminum structures, new markets are opening up in the sector. Thus, Casasco expects a third assembly line, the same size as the second, to begin construction in 2025.
