The Federal Institute of Roraima (IFRR) is accepting applications, through Notice No. 15/2024, for the free Basic Spanish Initial and Continuing Education course, offered entirely online (EAD). This is a valuable opportunity for those looking to enhance their professional skills, with 150 spots available, divided between public servants and the general community.
The Basic Spanish course has been designed to train students in the use of the Spanish language in practical and everyday contexts, emphasizing linguistic and cultural aspects. Completely free, the course has a workload of 160 hours, which will be distributed over two months. Classes will be held in a mixed format: synchronous activities via videoconference, and asynchronous activities through a Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), with the support of a tutor teacher.
To complete the course, the participant must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% and achieve 60% on evaluations.

Distribution of Places and Offer Locations
The Federal Institute of Roraima offers a total of 150 spots for the course, with 100 spots designated for residents of Boa Vista and Pacaraima, as part of support for the Welcome Operation, and another 50 spots for residents of other municipalities in the state of Roraima. If all spots are not filled, candidates from other states may apply.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be conducted based on the order of registration and document analysis. Municipal, state, and federal public servants living in Roraima will have priority. In case of a tie, length of public service and place of residence will be considered. There are no reserved spots for quotas, but tie-breaking criteria favor public servants.
Requirements to Participate in the Course
To apply, the candidate must have completed high school and present documents such as ID, CPF, and proof of residence. The course will be entirely online, so it is necessary to have internet access and a computer. Public servants who wish to have priority in the selection process must prove their employment link.
