The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), Canoas Campus, has announced Notice No. 60/2024 for the selection process for the Postgraduate Lato Sensu course in Project Management and Innovation. This specialization course offers a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to develop advanced skills in management and innovation. In total, 40 spots will be available for the course starting in the first semester of 2025.
The Project Management and Innovation course aims to prepare professionals to act strategically in projects, with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability. Classes will be in-person, held at the IFRS Canoas Campus, every Monday and Wednesday, from 7 PM to 10:35 PM. The total duration of the course is three semesters, plus an additional 90-day period for the completion of the Course Conclusion Work (TCC). The course will include lectures, seminars, discussion forums, and practical assessments, totaling a workload that ensures a comprehensive and in-depth training.
Available Spots and Location
Of the 40 spots offered, one spot is reserved for Black individuals (Black/Brown), one spot for Indigenous people, and one spot for people with disabilities (PwD), in accordance with the affirmative action policies outlined in the notice. The remaining spots are open to general competition. The course will be offered at the Canoas Campus, located at Rua Maria Zélia Carneiro de Figueiredo, 870-A, in the Igara III neighborhood, in Canoas/RS.

Selection Process for the Course at IF
The selection process will consist of two stages: in the first stage, the approved candidates must attend a presentation meeting of the course, where they will sign the attendance list and be informed about the next steps. The second stage will be a public drawing, which will determine the selected candidates for the available spots. If the reserved spots are not filled, they will be redistributed to the general competition.
Requirements
To participate in the selection process, candidates must hold a degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Additionally, candidates need to meet the technical requirements, such as having internet access and a computer to follow the complementary activities. Registration will be done exclusively online and requires the submission of documents such as CPF, ID, and diploma.
