The Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA) launched the Notice 107/2024offering several vacancies for free technical courses scheduled to start in 2025. The selection process covers integrated, concomitant and subsequent forms of secondary education, providing ongoing training, professional qualification and specializations in various areas.

Objective of free technical courses and workload

The main objective of the courses offered is to provide quality technical education, preparing students for the job market and for continuing their studies. The courses are offered in person, with a workload that varies according to the course chosen. Activities include theoretical and practical classes, as well as forums and seminars, depending on the specificities of each course.

Available vacancies and locations

The notice foresees a total of 3.600 vacancies distributed among different campuses of the Federal Institute (IFMA). The opportunities are aimed at candidates who wish to enroll in free technical courses at secondary level, distributed among campuses in the cities of São Luís, Imperatriz, Bacabal, among others.

Selection process

The selection process will be carried out through an objective test, consisting of questions on Portuguese and Mathematics. The quota system guarantees reserved places for students from public schools, people with disabilities, as well as affirmative actions for black, mixed race and indigenous people. team includes analysis of performance in tests and, in some cases, electronic draw for subsequent vacancies.

Application requirements

To participate in the selection process for free technical courses, candidates must have completed elementary or high school, depending on the chosen course modality. Internet access is required to register online, as well as documents such as ID, CPF and proof of education.

The Federal Institute (IFMA) offers a wide range of free technical courses in the areas of Administration, IT, Electronics, Environment, among others. Each campus has a specific list of available courses, ensuring diversity in the offering and in different areas of knowledge.

Registrations

Entries can be made by IFMA official website, until October 21, 2024. The process is simple and can be done entirely online. The registration fee is R$30,00, except for candidates who request exemption in accordance with the conditions described in the notice.
