UFPI Offers 30 Spots for a Free and 100% Online Specialization in Ecology. Enrollment Starts on November 20 and Runs Until November 24, 2024.

If you are in the field of Biology or Environmental Sciences and are looking for qualification, this is your chance! The Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) has just announced 30 spots for a completely free online specialization in Ecology.

Scheduled to start in January 2025, the course promises a robust training for those who wish to deepen their knowledge on the subject. The course lasts for 1.5 years but can extend up to 2 years, including the time for the thesis defense.

With a total workload of 510 hours, students will have access to subjects ranging from Biogeography and Biological Conservation, all designed to provide a comprehensive education aligned with market and scientific research demands.

How Will the Specialization Be?

The course is aimed at those who have an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences or related fields, such as Environmental Sciences and Environmental Management. An important requirement is that candidates from related courses have at least one Ecology course in their curriculum.

Classes will be conducted entirely online, ensuring that students can participate from anywhere in Brazil, with flexibility to balance studies and other activities.
