Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul Opens Over One Thousand Spots in Free Distance Qualification Courses Lasting Three Months with Options in Different Municipalities of the State. Registrations Are Open Until September.

The Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul opened more than 1,145 spots for free courses for professional qualification, in the distance learning modality, lasting three months.

The opportunities are for Administrative Assistant, Computer Operator, and Salesperson, with offerings in 23 municipalities of the state.

The selection will be conducted through an electronic drawing, and classes will begin in October.

Who Can Participate

The educational requirement varies by course and municipality. In some cases, it is necessary to have completed elementary school.

In others, it is enough to have completed Elementary I (1st to 5th grade). The details are in Annex II of the notice.

The courses are completely online, with no in-person meetings, and are aimed at those seeking quick training for the job market.

Vacancies Throughout the State

The spots are distributed across municipalities in different regions of Mato Grosso do Sul, combining unlimited and fixed quantity offerings.

In cities like Amambai, Antônio João, Aral Moreira, Dourados, Maracaju, Nova Andradina, and Ponta Porã, there are unlimited spots for all courses.

In Jardim, the offering is unlimited for Administrative Assistant and Salesperson.

In Aquidauana, it is unlimited for Administrative Assistant and Computer Operator.

In centers with a defined number, the highlights are:

Campo Grande: 100 spots for Administrative Assistant and 100 for Computer Operator.
Três Lagoas: 40 per course.
Aparecida do Taboado: 40 per course.
São Gabriel do Oeste: 60 per course.
Sidrolândia: 50 for Operator and 50 for Salesperson.
Nova Alvorada do Sul: 50 for Operator.
Coxim: 60 for Administrative Assistant.
Camapuã: 20 per course.
Cassilândia: 25 for Operator.
Chapadão do Sul: 40 per course.
Costa Rica: 40 for Operator.
Paraíso das Águas: 40 for Operator.
Paranaíba: 40 for Administrative Assistant and 40 for Operator.

Electronic Drawing and Start of Classes

The selection will be made by electronic drawing, scheduled for September 11 at 10 AM, with live streaming on IFMS’s YouTube.

The first call of the selected candidates will be published on September 17. Enrollments will take place between September 18 and 28.

If spots remain, the waiting list will be released on September 29, with registrations from September 30 to October 10. Classes will begin on October 13, 2025.

Selection Criteria

The drawing assigns a number to each registrant.

If the total number of approved candidates is less than the number of spots at a given center, there will be no drawing, and all registrants will be called in the first call. This rule is outlined in the notice.

Support for Those Who Do Not Have Internet

Those without a computer or internet access can register in person at the Relationship Center (Cerel) of the IFMS campuses or the Distance Education (EAD) centers listed in the notice.

Opportunity for Quick Training

With short-term courses, completely online and distributed across various regions, the program increases the chances of insertion or reinsert in the job market.

The requirement of only a CPF for registration simplifies access and benefits candidates seeking their first formal qualification.

How to Register by September 7

Registrations must be done online, at the Candidate Page of the Selection Center, until September 7, 2025. The candidate must provide their own CPF, fill in personal data, confirm name and date of birth, and submit the registration.

Then, they should access the “Open Registrations” tab, locate Notice No. 61/2025, choose the municipality and desired course, confirm the option and finalize. Confirmation is automatically sent to the registered email.
