The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) announced the opening of registrations for Notice 06/2024, which aims to select temporary professionals to work as Tutors and Tutoring Supervisors in the Technical Courses of Community Health Agent and Health Surveillance offered by the institution.

The More Health with Agent Program, an initiative of the Ministry of Health, aims to provide technical training for community health agents and agents combating endemic diseases from 2024 to 2026. This program aims to qualify professionals to work in Primary Care and Health Surveillance within the Unified Health System (SUS). Technical Courses

About the Selection Process

The Notice 06/2024 defines the guidelines for the availability of up to 3,600 positions for Tutors and 180 positions for Tutoring Supervisors, in addition to the formation of a reserve list. This action aims to ensure the continuity of the activities of the courses offered to over 100 thousand professionals in various states of Brazil.

The selection of candidates for EAD course tutors will be conducted through Curricular Analysis, according to the criteria established in ANNEX I of the Notice, considering the academic and professional experience of the candidates.

Details About the Functions of Tutors and Supervisors at UFRGS:

Tutors and Supervisors have various responsibilities to ensure the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process of the students. See the details of each function:

Online EAD Tutor: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Health or any recognized teaching degree. These professionals are responsible for implementing the pedagogical guidelines in the Virtual Environment, facilitating learning. Each online course tutor will be responsible for groups of approximately 50 students. The remuneration is R$ 1,200.00 per month, with a total of 3,600 positions available.

Tutoring Supervisor: Interested candidates must have a post-graduate degree (lato sensu or stricto sensu) in Health. The Tutoring Supervisors supervise the activities of online course tutors in the Virtual Environment, providing pedagogical support. The remuneration is R$ 2,500.00 per month, with a total of 180 positions available.

For both functions, a weekly availability of 20 hours and internet access are required. In addition, candidates must agree to the Acceptance Term.

The scholarships for online course tutors last up to 13 months, with the possibility of extension according to the project’s needs.

To apply for the Simplified Selection Process at UFRGS for the positions of Tutors and Supervisors for online courses, candidates must access the official website of the program by July 20, 2024. On the portal, it is necessary to fill out the application form with personal information and attach the required documentation in Notice 06/2024. Additionally, candidates must read and agree to the Acceptance Term, which stipulates the conditions and responsibilities of the functions. Participation in the selection process will be confirmed after the submission of all requested information and documents.
