With that in mind, we prepared a special list of cheap and economical motorcycles that are gaining prominence in the market. Honda Biz 125 ES (R$ 12,000)

To start the list of economical motorcycles, this icon could not be left out. For 26 years, the Honda Biz 125 has been the favorite bike of Brazilians. Since its launch in Brazil in 1998, more than 4.7 million units have been produced and sold in the country. With ergonomic design provided by the scooter-style body, ease of riding, and attractive price, it has gained a legion of fans over the years.

Now, in 2025, the Biz is one of the cheapest motorcycles purchased, and in both versions offered in the Brazilian market, EX and ES, the Biz features a new engine of 123.9 cc. This new engine promises to reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions. It is capable of generating, in both versions, 9.53 horsepower and 10.1 Nm of torque.

Launched at the end of 2023, this is one of the cheap motorcycles that impress in various aspects. The model is equipped with a single-cylinder engine of 123.67 cm³. It features electronic fuel injection and delivers 8 hp at 8,000 RPM and 0.9 kgfm of torque. The transmission, in turn, has 4 gears.

Among other standard items, this, which is one of the most economical motorcycles, includes LED turn signals, DRL, and USB ports. Weighing 90 kg, the Shineray Rio 125 has a fuel tank of 4.2 liters and a maximum load capacity of 150, as reported by Shineray. The starting system is electric and also pedal-operated.

With a price of R$ 10,090, this is one of the most accessible economical motorcycles for those looking for a model with a trunk under the seat. The trunk is capable of holding a helmet and includes a USB port for recharging electronic devices during the ride.

The engine is a four-stroke single-cylinder, with a displacement of 123.67 cc, generating 7.2 horsepower at 7,500 RPM and 0.816 kgfm of torque at 6,000 RPM. The transmission is semi-automatic with four speeds, and the start can be electronic or pedal-operated.

Even being one of the more accessible options for cheap motorcycles on the market, the JET 125 comes with a fully digital dashboard, displaying information such as speedometer, tachometer, odometer, fuel level, battery voltage, and engaged gear, ensuring practicality for the rider.

Honda Pop 110i ES (R$ 9,690)

Last but not least, we have the Honda Pop 110 i, the cheapest on the list when considering models above 50 cc. The leader in the list of economical motorcycles comes equipped with a four-stroke single-cylinder engine and 109.5 cc, generating 8.43 horsepower at 7,350 RPM and 0.945 kgfm of torque at 5,000 RPM.

The transmission is semi-automatic with four speeds, and the start is electric. The leader in the cheap motorcycle segment has undergone recent updates, such as the introduction of electric start and electronic injection. Besides its affordable price, the main attraction of the model is fuel economy, with an estimated consumption of 49.1 km/l according to Honda.
