Snapdragon 8 Elite 2: The New Top of the Food Chain
The standout feature of the RedMagic 11 Ultra is the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, Qualcomm’s new bet that will be manufactured with advanced TSMC lithography at 3 nm, promising the greatest leap in performance and energy efficiency ever seen in the Snapdragon line.
According to initial rumors, the chip will feature customized CPU cores that are more powerful than those in the Apple M4, alongside a turbocharged Adreno GPU with support for ray tracing, spatial audio, and hardware-accelerated generative AI—all designed for ultra-realistic gaming, extreme multitasking, and native artificial intelligence applications.
This new processor will place the RedMagic 11 Ultra on the same performance level as premium laptops, reinforcing the idea that the gaming phone of the future will not just be for gaming—it will be a powerhouse in your pocket.
Radical Design and Cooling Ahead of Its Time
Although the official look of the RedMagic 11 Ultra has yet to be revealed, expectations are that it will follow the aggressive visual identity of the line: robust body, RGB lighting, metallic details, and, most importantly, a cooling system with an internal fan—a differentiator that has already put its predecessors ahead of the competition.
The brand is also expected to update the ICE Cooling system, combining vapor chamber, graphene, and layered liquid cooling to maintain maximum performance during long sessions, which is essential for gamers, content creators, and heavy users.
Additionally, rumors suggest that the model may come with a titanium frame, IP68 resistance, and a transparent back with programmable LED, reinforcing the premium and bold character of the model.

Following the brand’s tradition, the RedMagic 11 Ultra is expected to feature a display worthy of its hardware. An AMOLED panel of at least 6.8 inches is anticipated, with a Full HD+ or 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz or higher, maintaining the fluidity essential for competitive gaming.
The touch sampling rate is expected to exceed 960 Hz, making the response time almost instantaneous—ideal for precision games and fast actions. Although not yet confirmed, the RedMagic 11 Ultra is expected to launch with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, following the steps of the recently launched RedMagic Astra tablet, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
This combination would place the device on the same level as gaming laptops and mobile workstations, allowing the installation of dozens of games, capturing 8K videos, editing on the device itself, and running multiple tasks comfortably.
The extreme memory also favors the use of local AI models, something that is beginning to gain traction on Android with the new Copilot+, Gemini, and other embedded tools.
Android 15 with Gamer Optimizations and Local AI
The RedMagic 11 Ultra is expected to ship with Android 15, modified by the RedMagic OS interface with a total focus on performance and gamer customization. The interface is already known for bringing tools such as:
