With a Modern Look, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Arrives as a Liquid-Cooled 450cc Motorcycle, Urban Bet of the Royal Enfield 2026 Launch and Possible Competitor to the Triumph Speed 400.
Royal Enfield is preparing to expand its lineup in Brazil with the launch of the Guerrilla 450, an urban and sporty motorcycle that is expected to arrive here in 2026, shortly after the already well-known Himalayan 450. The new model shares the same mechanical base as the adventure bike but comes with different visual and cycling proposals aimed at urban use and a sportier style.
With a 452 cm³ liquid-cooled engine and 40.02 hp of power, the Guerrilla 450 is expected to arrive in the country as one of the Indian brand’s bets to face rivals such as the Triumph Speed 400, which today costs R$ 29,990 in the national market. The expectation is that the Royal Enfield model will have a competitive price, positioned below the Himalayan 450, which starts at the same price as the British rival.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Launch Expected in 2026
Although there is no confirmed official date, the launch of the Guerrilla 450 in Brazil is expected in the first half of 2026, with direct importation from India. The brand has not yet announced the official prices for the national market, but abroad, the model is sold between 239,000 and 254,000 rupees, which equals about R$ 16,200 to R$ 17,200 in direct conversion.

Royal Enfield is expected to apply additional costs related to taxes, fees, and logistics in the importation process, which may position the motorcycle in the price range of R$ 25,000 to R$ 30,000 in Brazil—still an attractive option for those seeking a liquid-cooled 450cc motorcycle with a modern look and urban performance.
Three Versions and Up to Six Color Options of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450
In India, the Guerrilla 450 is offered in three distinct versions, varying according to finish and panel technology:
- Analogue: entry-level version with solid paint and analog-digital panel
- Dash: bicolor finish and TFT panel with basic functions
- Flash: top-of-the-line version with premium paint and TFT panel with more features
In addition to the versions, the lineup also offers six quite distinct color options: Brava Blue, Yellow Ribbon, Gold Dip, Playa Black, Peix Bronze, and Smoke Silver. There is still no confirmation of which colors and configurations will be offered in Brazil, but the expectation is that at least the intermediate and top versions will be part of the brand’s strategy here.
Sherpa 450 Engine: 40 hp with Liquid Cooling
The highlight of the Guerrilla 450 is in its mechanical assembly, which uses the same Sherpa 450 engine as the Himalayan. It is a single-cylinder 452 cm³, liquid-cooled engine with dual overhead camshaft and electronic fuel injection. It delivers 40.02 horsepower and 4.07 kgfm of torque, numbers that are quite competitive in the category of motorcycles up to 500 cc.
The transmission is a six-speed, with slipper and assist clutch, a feature that improves performance during downshifts and offers greater control to the rider, especially in urban situations and harsher braking.
Cycling Focused on Urban Use
Unlike the Himalayan, which is aimed at off-road adventures, the Guerrilla 450 was designed for everyday use in urban centers. This is evident in the 17-inch alloy wheels, the lower seat height—only 780 mm—and the 11-liter tank, ideal for urban commuting with good autonomy.
The dry weight is 185 kg, which places the motorcycle within the segment’s average. The front suspension features a 43 mm telescopic fork with 140 mm of travel, while the rear adopts a mono-shock with 150 mm of travel. The disc brakes are 310 mm at the front and 270 mm at the back, with two-channel ABS as standard.
Panel with Google Navigation and USB-C Input
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 also stands out for offering modern technological features, especially in the intermediate and top versions. The Dash and Flash models feature a colored TFT panel with native navigation developed by Google, as well as riding modes and connectivity with smartphones.
The basic version (Analogue) brings an analog-digital panel with an auxiliary screen and compatibility with the Tripper navigation mode, the same used in other Royal Enfield motorcycles.
Another positive point is the USB Type C input, which allows charging mobile devices during the ride—a feature increasingly valued by urban users and motorcyclists who use their phones as GPS.
Direct Competition with Triumph Speed 400
When positioned in Brazil, the Guerrilla 450 is expected to become a direct rival to the Triumph Speed 400, which is currently offered in the national market for R$ 29,990. Both share the proposal of being accessible motorcycles with a premium touch, engines close to 40 hp, and a focus on urban agility with a sporty style.
As a result, Royal Enfield may attract a new audience, especially those looking for a medium-sized motorcycle with a modern look, good performance, and a competitive price. The Guerrilla 450’s proposal reinforces the brand’s plan to expand its portfolio beyond classic and adventure models, betting on a segment that is gaining strength in Brazil.
