Santander Is Offering Thousands Of Scholarships For Those Looking To Learn Programming Or Transitioning To The IT Field. There Are Over 15,000 Scholarships Open For Candidates From All Over Brazil.

The educational front of Banco Santander, the Santander Universidades, announced this Tuesday (5th) the opening of registrations for the third edition of Santander Coders 2022, a program that provides scholarships for a training program in the IT field, made available every year by the bank.

Banco Santander Partners With EDTech

The bank announced that for this year’s edition, it has partnered with the programming edtech Let’s Code and will open 15,000 scholarships for courses in web full stack technologies and programming languages, data engineering, data science, mobile, and test automation.

The 250 participants in the IT training who perform the best will receive full scholarships for courses in one of the five programming languages chosen by the participants themselves.

The course tracks in the IT field will be conducted remotely on the Let’s Code platform, which features a multi-step selection methodology to ensure the selection of the best candidates and a high success rate among them.

According to Nicolás Vergara, executive superintendent of Santander Universidades, recent editions that offered various scholarships have shown that people of various educational backgrounds and ages are seeking to boost their careers. This is an opportunity to learn solid and inclusive content about the world’s main programming resources.

Applications To Compete For Santander Scholarships

This year’s Santander Coders is targeted at individuals over 18 years old, with an interest in the IT field or those transitioning careers. To participate, it is not necessary to have graduated or be enrolled in a degree program.

Those interested in competing for the scholarships should access the official program website. It will be necessary to fill in some information such as Full Name, Country of Residence, Email, Date of Birth, and others.

The Let’s Code platform provides participants in the IT training with full access to classes with over a thousand hours of content in web full stack, data engineering, data science, test automation, and mobile.

According to Banco Santander, the program is a great opportunity for those interested in learning to program to acquire skills in the most sought-after areas by the job market and receive comprehensive training in the IT field at no cost, while also potentially joining Santander’s technology team.

According to Let’s Code’s CMO Gabriel Göltl, it is recognized how much the financial market is advancing in terms of technology, and the traditional degree model does not meet its demands. Thus, Let’s Code aims to help companies train professionals through practical learning.
