Santander Is Open for Applications for More Than 8,000 Scholarships Aimed at Game Streamers. The Scholarship Amount Is R$ 2,400 and Covers Trending Games in the Current Scenario.
The Santander Gamer Pro Program has entered a new phase, focusing on finding the next game streamer who will go viral across all platforms. The goal is to select candidates to offer professional courses, specializing e-sports players in titles such as Fortnite, League of Legends, and others in the scene. Game Streamers Will Receive Scholarships of R$ 2,400
The candidates will also receive classes to help them become professional streamers, learning to use all the tools and equipment necessary to perform this role. Approved scholarship recipients will receive financial support from Santander of R$ 2,400 to participate in the CNB Esports base category and can apply until July 15, 2024.
The initiative is from Santander Universities in partnership with CNB Esports, aiming to grant up to 8,000 free scholarships that will aid in the development of e-sports in Brazil.

As mentioned earlier, the courses provided by the program focus on enhancing skills in the most popular games on the market, such as League of Legends, Fortnite, and Valorant. Additionally, they will help professionalize as game streamers, enabling advancement in this field.
The third edition of Santander Gamer Pro, in partnership with CNB Esports, will provide scholarships according to the registration demand. Interested game streamers will need to undergo an evaluation which will determine the candidates with the highest potential for success.
Who Can Participate in the Santander Gamer Pro Program
Those who qualify will receive an extension of the course, lasting 45 days, receiving the amount of R$ 2,400.00 to work with the CNB Esports base teams during that period. There will be 12 weeks during which candidates can participate in remote meetings with professional coaches.
Those who wish to apply for Santander Gamer Pro must be over 16 years of age and do not need to be enrolled in any higher education program. Candidates are also not required to have prior knowledge of the games mentioned above, nor do they need to be a Santander client.
It is worth noting that diversity is a priority, with spots reserved for people with disabilities, women, and individuals of black and mixed-race descent, in addition to the extensive competition. Applications can be made through Santander Open Academy until July 15, 2024.
According to Marcio Giannico, Senior Head of Government, Institutions, Universities, and Universia in Brazil, the Santander Gamer Pro scholarship program for game streamers is a gateway to the professional level, providing structure and support to develop skills in the most competitive games of the moment and in the art of streaming.

Since the program launched in 2022, more than 60,000 applicants and 13,000 students have already benefited. Last year’s edition saw a 10% increase in female applicants, reflecting the growing presence of women in the gaming scene.
Karoline Palhares, known as “karolizzie”, is a success story. The 26-year-old from Rio Grande do Norte saw the program as an opportunity to fulfill her dream of being a game streamer. Currently, she is one of the influential voices in the streaming community, thanks to the boost she received from Santander Gamer Pro.
It is worth mentioning that the Santander Open Academy is a non-profit initiative of Santander bank that helps individuals acquire the professional skills necessary to improve their employability and future.
