The Motorcycle Market Grows in 2024
The launch of the new Yamaha scooter in the economic motorcycle segment could do well in the Brazilian market, given that in recent times, Brazil has shown significant growth, especially in the more accessible vehicle segment.
In 2023, sales of this type of motorcycle skyrocketed, transforming the urban mobility landscape. Traditional brands like Honda and Yamaha lead in sales volume; however, Chinese brands are gaining ground with competitive models in terms of price.
Economic motorcycles, especially models like scooters and cubs, were developed to offer agility and convenience in urban traffic. They are perfect for those who need to move quickly through congested areas and face parking difficulties. Additionally, these vehicles provide a comfortable riding position, reducing fatigue on longer journeys.
Yamaha Launches Other New Economic Motorcycles in 2024
Recently, Yamaha introduced a model that is gaining great popularity in the market due to its accessibility and efficiency. Called the Yamaha JOG 125, this new Yamaha scooter, offered for around R$ 8,6 thousand, promises to be a game changer in terms of accessible and efficient urban transportation.
This model is known not only for its competitive price but also for its fuel efficiency, reaching an impressive 51.9 km/l. This gives the model a range of over 200 km on a single tank, a true asset for those needing an efficient motorcycle for the busy routines of large cities.
Furthermore, comfort has not been overlooked, as the scooter features a seat height of 735 mm, making daily riding more comfortable and enjoyable. Like the Cygnus Gryphus, the model will not arrive here anytime soon. Designed in Taiwan, the JOG 125 made its debut in the Japanese market starting March 19, 2024.
